Skaters must come from a lower age group (example: if playing 14U you must use 12U or younger as affiliates). Also, by adding the affiliated skater, your roster number may not exceed the number of registered skaters you have on your team (example: if you have 8 registered skaters on your team, someone must be missing in order to affiliate a skater, and if one person was missing you can only affiliate one player to fill that empty position).
Goalies must come from the same tier in the same age groups, lower tier in the same age groups, or lower age group (example: if playing 17U White, you can use any other goalie in 17U White, Blue, Green or a goalie from 14U Red, White, Blue or Green).
Playoffs
Same rules apply as Regular Season, except you must have permission from your Category Director prior to using the player. If you don't have permission from the Category Director to use the player and you go ahead and use that player, your team will default the game and the coach will face disciplinary action.
